About Talya

One thing you should know about me is that I believe in the power of healing and hard-fought self-love.

As a woman who suffered from body dysmorphia, eating disorders, and drug addiction for most of her young adult life…

I know what it’s like to self-harm and turn to sugar for comfort. My genetics are steeped in heart disease, autoimmunity, and mental illness. So I know how it feels to battle depression, chronic inflammation, and psoriasis-inspired scratching bouts that used to leave me bleeding.

I KNOW HOW MUCH IT HURTS TO NOT HAVE YOUR HEALTH – AND HOW REWARDING IT FEELS TO RECLAIM IT.

Today I spend my time nourishing my body, mind, and spirit – cooking healthy food, practicing yoga, living Ayurveda, and playing in nature with as many dogs as I can.

The self-care I celebrate today is born from years of struggle. Like so many, I didn’t understand my body and felt disempowered around how to care for my health.

PRACTICING Ayurveda led me to embrace self-care as a pathway to EMPOWERMENT and self-love.

It ignited my spirit and guided me to my divine livelihood as a certified Ayurvedic practitioner, therapeutic bodyworker, yoga teacher, professional chef, and published author.

I’m proof that Ayurveda works. Which is one reason why I’m so passionate about teaching self-care as preventative and life-changing health care.

Have you ever had to face the fact that western medicine alone couldn’t help you heal? Or felt helpless around your symptoms and how your body is changing? Have you ever felt out of control and desperate for a solution?

Me, too. Conventional medicine is valuable. Yet it couldn’t offer me solutions when I needed them most.

Enter the life-changing power of Ayurveda.

With its common-sense approach to health and wholeness, Ayurveda helps prevent illness and dis-ease. It unwinds imbalances, supports you as you evolve and grow, and becomes your perpetual roadmap to wellness.

Ayurveda HELPS YOU feel cared for, vibrant, and alive.
